Things have not been easy for C after she fled DFV with her 8 children. She has experienced DFV for 9 years, attempted to separate before, but got pregnant with twins. She has been living in a caravan with her children for the last 9 months, moving between different caravan parks and campgrounds. She has recently secured a safe home after being rejected in previous lease applications due to the fact that she has children. Unfortunately, some of her furniture was damaged by previous floods, and another was kept by the children's father. She does not have the financial means to buy all the items again, as she has used all her savings for the lease bond. She is looking forward to moving to a house where children can feel safe and settled. This will not be possible without support from the community. This family deserves a life free of violence.
