Christmas 2026
2026 Victoria Bushfires
This household continues to recover from the significant impacts of a recent bushfire event. While their primary residence remained intact, extensive damage to property, infrastructure and livelihood assets has created ongoing financial and emotional challenges. The recovery process has been prolonged, with months spent managing fire-related impacts and addressing damage across the property.
Ongoing insurance matters and financial pressures have added further stress, compounding existing personal and employment-related challenges. As recovery continues, the household is working hard to regain stability while managing the lasting effects of the disaster.
Support will help ease some of the financial strain experienced during this recovery period, allowing the family to focus on spending quality time together, maintaining important family traditions and creating positive experiences for their children during the festive season.
