The client is a refugee woman who has been living in Australia since 2024. She is currently unemployed and relies on her husband's income to support the family. Due to their financial circumstances and the rising cost of living, the family is experiencing financial hardship and is unable to afford bicycles for their children.
The client is seeking assistance to obtain bicycles for her two children, aged 14 and 8, to support their transportation needs and encourage regular physical activity.
Having bicycles would provide the children with an opportunity to commute to school, where safe and practical, and engage in outdoor activities that promote their physical health, wellbeing and independence.
Due to the family's limited financial resources, purchasing bicycles is not currently affordable. Funding support would help reduce this financial burden and enable the children to participate in healthy activities while supporting their access to education.
