A mother of five recently escaped a domestic violence situation and, in doing so, has been forced to navigate the devastating reality of homelessness. After leaving an unsafe environment to protect herself and her children, the family is now staying in crisis accommodation while they work towards finding a safe and stable home.
This mother has already been through more than any parent should ever have to. Right now, even the basics; putting food on the table, buying groceries and making sure the children have what they need each day; have become overwhelming challenges.
Mum is doing everything she can to keep her children safe, supported and hopeful through an incredibly difficult chapter. No mother should have to choose between buying essential necessities and feeding her children.
We are asking for help to cover essential food costs while the family resides in crisis accommodation. Every contribution can provide immediate relief and help take one worry off mum's shoulders.
