A young woman (21) has experienced homelessness since escaping domestic and family violence and AOD issues in the home several years ago. In this time, she has couch surfed, slept rough, and stayed in temporary accommodation. She has been working through a number of personal barriers such as literacy, with her case worker and has secured a transitional property. This will give her the opportunity to settle, continue to address personal barriers and begin a more stable and meaningful life.
