After a long wait, a single aged pensioner in his 70's has finally secured public housing and is preparing to settle into his new home. Living alone with no family support, he relies on community services to help him manage daily life and ongoing chronic health conditions.
While he has managed to obtain most essential household items, he cannot afford a washing machine due to financial hardship. As he does not drive, accessing external laundry facilities is difficult and costly.
A donated washing machine would help him maintain his independence, privacy, and dignity, while supporting a safe and successful transition into his new home.
