This family has endured significant family & domestic violence, including physical assault & coercive control.
After a long period in refuge accommodation & then transitional housing, they have finally secured a permanent home. While this is a positive and stabilising step, the move has created substantial financial pressure. The mother is also providing meals to the children of another vulnerable family, stretching her limited resources even further. Irregular child support payments have added to the financial instability, making it extremely difficult for her to budget or meet ongoing expenses. As a result, the family is currently unable to afford basic living costs & urgently require financial assistance to maintain safety, stability, & wellbeing in their new home.
We are seeking donations of vouchers to help set up their new home, & to pay for everyday expenses. Any support would make a meaningful difference in helping this family feel safe, supported & empowered.
