We support a family of three who arrived in Australia a decade ago and have been seeking protection since then. The family is still awaiting a hearing regarding their migration status.
The father is the sole income earner for the family. However, due to ongoing physical health issues, his ability to work and earn sufficient income is significantly limited. The mother is illiterate, experiences poor health, and is unable to pursue employment opportunities.
Their daughter is currently in her second year of a bachelor's degree program. As part of her studies, she is required to purchase essential textbooks and learning materials. Unfortunately, the family's financial circumstances make it difficult for her to meet these costs on her own.
Any assistance towards the purchase of her required course books would help support her continued education during this challenging period for the family.
