The young woman has suffered verbal, emotional and physical abuse from the very people that were supposed to love and protect her, namely her own family members. The young woman suffers from a condition that affects almost every part of her body, causing her to need a walking stick and in worse times, a wheelchair.
The young woman has lived in fear for many years and has finally found the strength to move away and has successfully rented a single unit, where she will try to rebuild her life. The young woman receives the Disability Pension from Centrelink, and cannot save much once rent and living expenses have been paid for.
