This person requires a self-rolling wheelchair (i.e. the ability to control the chair by herself, not just being pushed by someone else). It will need to be in good working order and be lightweight, and able to be folded up for transport in the boot of a car.

Client has just moved into a social housing unit after 3 years sleeping in her car and needs some items to make it a home.

This person was made homeless 3 years ago after leaving a violent relationship. She was forced to sleep in her car for 3 years with only her cat for company. She suffers from fibromyalgia and chronic pain and the inability to regulate her body temperature. She is seeking a portable air conditioning unit so she can keep herself cool to assist in reducing her pain and discomfort.
