2025 NSW Mid North Coast & Hunter Floods
This couple unfortunately have lost their business and home up North through a combination of floods and financial hardship, worsened by a diagnosis of PTSD from working as a Coroner for many years. They are sleeping in their car nearby as their children are staying with grandparents. They are engaging with every service possible and doing their best to find safe and stable housing to be reunited with their children, rebuild their business and work towards financial stability. Their rooftop tent has become damage and no longer usable, forcing them to be squished in their car which is worsening both their mental health and chronic pain conditions. This couple are always hesitant to ask for help, hard working and community minded people who have fallen on hard time and truly deserve help and kindness to rebuild their lives.
