A young man on the autism spectrum experienced significant and ongoing abuse from his parents which forced him to leave home and resulted in homelessness. He experienced homelessness for several years until recently when he secured a transitional property. This has given him a stable space to re-group and start working towards his goals while being supported by his case worker. He has recently gained his first job which he is super excited about however he lacks the necessary transport to get there and back during his shifts. Public transport in his area is minimal.
