First Nations Support
I work for a service in Fremantle Area that supports young people and families who are experiencing homelessness.
I am currently working with a young Aboriginal woman, who is sole parenting her two sons (7mths & 20mths). The family have recently moved into transitional accommodation, where they can live until they secure long term housing.
This is their first family home, and the first time the young mother has lived independently. I am hoping to assist her to set up a bedroom for her son's that she feels proud of, and that will be a space where they build new and happy memories that they will hold onto forever. This young mother is dedicated to giving her son's the best childhood that she can, and she is very grateful of any support that she receives in her journey.
