This single mum is the primary caregiver for four school-aged kids. They are currently couch-surfing due to community violence which makes it unsafe for them to be in their home. This mum is deeply dedicated to her kids and is currently studying to improve their future, but as a result is having significant struggles making ends meet on only a Centrelink income. This family has come a long way, having been through more hard times than can be summarised in a short paragraph, and are doing everything they can to move forward. Giving them a bit of practical support would go a long way to making their days easier and keeping them on the right track.
