This mother and her young daughter have experienced ongoing family and domestic violence for several years, resulting in significant trauma and multiple hospitalisations. To ensure their safety, they recently relocated to a new area and have a long-term AVO to protect them.
Due to fleeing the violence, they were unable to take most of their household belongings with them. Support from the community will help this family continue rebuilding their lives, recover from the impacts of violence, and create a sense of safety and stability as they move forward.
