Seeking some food vouchers for financially struggling family.
GIVIT
This is a large family of six from Sudanese background. The family has no consistent income largely due to the language barrier and are seeking protection here in Australia. They are in a supported transitional property currently and are not eligible for any Centrelink benefits.
The family has been surviving on donations and support from the charity organisation and food pantries around, but they were not able to procure items to cook their authentic and traditional cuisine most of the time. The family has fled their country to escape persecution and has been in Australia for more than five years and has missed their home and their familiar surroundings and families.
Any support to connect with their culture and comfort food for the financially struggling families would bring so much joy during this festive season.
