We are seeking donations of musical instruments for use by young people receiving inpatient care within our hospital. Hospital admissions can be challenging and disruptive for young people, often resulting in feelings of stress, anxiety, boredom, and social isolation. Access to musical instruments provides a meaningful creative outlet that supports emotional expression, relaxation, and overall wellbeing during their stay. Engagement in music can help foster a sense of normalcy, achievement, and connection, while offering a constructive way to cope with the challenges associated with being in hospital. Instruments can be used independently, with peers, or as part of structured therapeutic and recreational activities, promoting creativity, self-confidence, and positive engagement. Donated instruments will help us create a more supportive and enriching environment for our inpatient youth clients, providing opportunities for enjoyment and personal expression

Young people admitted to our inpatient mental health ward are often facing some of the most difficult periods of their lives. While clinical care is vital, small acts of kindness from our community can make a significant difference to their comfort, wellbeing, and recovery.

We're seeking donations to help create a more supportive and engaging environment for the young people in our care. Items we regularly need include:

Grocery vouchers for cooking activities, life-skills development, and shared meals
Clothing vouchers or new clothing to provide comfort, dignity, and practical support
Sensory items such as fidget tools, weighted products, and calming resources
Art and creative supplies to encourage self-expression and engagement
Recreational equipment including games, music, and wellbeing activities

Every donation helps provide comfort, connection, and opportunities for growth during a young person's hospital stay.
