Community minded father who lost home contents and recreational equipment in bushfires
East Gippsland resident who stayed and defended his and neighbours properties, managing to save own and other homes. Considers self and his young family very fortunate and has not reached out for assistance because of this. Had recently moved in and furniture and other possessions were stored in neighbours shed that was destroyed by the fire. Contents insurance therefore did not cover these items. Donations of items would be a gesture of goodwill that would provide a boost to the emotional well being of this resilient community minded citizen
