The family experienced frequent evacuations during the 2019/20 Bushfires and were impacted by smoke, power cuts and road closures. This has been followed by the additional restrictions and impact of Covid 19. Their primary school identified their two children as a priority for support.
The children experienced additional hardship and challenges before moving to their current care placement. As a result they have never owned a bicycle but this is something they are passionate about, and will borrow bikes to ride with children locally. To have their own bicycle would be an incredible gift for them.
