The Sir Henry Parkes Memorial Public School Parents and Citizens Association

The Parents & Citizens association supports our school to create teaching and learning environments that enable students to be healthy, happy, engaged and successful.
The P & C enables parents to learn about school policies and programs, giving them the opportunity to be more involved in the way the school community is shaped, financial decisions & policies.
We assist the school by fund raising and supporting projects like school sports days etc.. by providing extra volunteers to help to run activities.
We also assist the school to become more engaged in the community!
Tenterfield has endured many years of drought, bushfires, contamination of the towns drinking water & now is dealing with the loss of work for our parents & businesses due to the effect the Corona Virus is having on our small community. Being situated so close to the Qld boarder means visitors / tourists have not been visiting our town as frequently as they had in the past.
Fund raising this year has been non existent however we can not allow this issue to stop us from providing our students with the best possible outcomes for 2020.
