To access donated items or services through GIVIT, please connect with a support organisation registered with GIVIT that can assess your needs and provide assistance. 12 Buckets Inc

A non-government funded program funded through events and donations, the 12 Buckets Program connects at-risk and disadvantaged children in Perth’s northern suburbs with the skills, support and connections needed to build a strong future. Over the last 6 years, 12 Buckets has provided a primary school program, staffing a School Liaison position in each of the 4 schools it partners with. The School Liaison’s recruit, train and supervise a team of volunteer mentors who work with referred children and they also coordinate additional enrichment programs. These additional programs include a Basketball Program, University Aspiration Program and a Debating Program.

3rd Space

3rd Space Brisbane is a drop-in centre where homeless people find practical support, friendship and dignity. Located in Fortitude Valley, 3rd Space helps thousands of people every year – assisting some with simple things such as a shower or a meal and a cup of tea, others with a program of support for more complex needs. We help to find accommodation and work; manage addictions and emotional challenges; and get the right health and dental services.

Community Pantry & Op Shop to assist those struggling with day to day living costs within the Hasting/Macleay and surrounding areas. Our friendly & caring volunteers have been serving our Community since 2008 with free and/or cheap groceries. You can walk through our community pantry and shop for the items you need. Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Community Health Service Brisbane - Family Participation Program

Family Participation Program (FPP) supports families when involved with the Department of Child Safety.

We facilitate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander family led decision making with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people and their families in the Brisbane and Logan region. Our FPP is here support families to mitigate immediate and ongoing risk, increase immediate and ongoing safety, identify family and community supports and help our mob keep our kids out of the system.

Aboriginal and Islander Community Resource Agency - Rockhampton Aboriginal Corporation

Aboriginal & Islander Community Resource Agency (AICRA), delivers culturally sensitive community programs, which promote physical, social and emotional well-being in Aboriginal and Islander people. AICRA sponsors three programs: 1) The Management of Public Intoxication Program (MPIP) supports people who have multiple & complex issues such as alcohol abuse, homelessness, mental health issues, low literacy and numeracy skills, domestic violence and other drug abuse issues. MPIP provides assertive outreach to check on the welfare of people affected by alcohol in public spaces as well as assistance to access services to help meet their needs e.g. housing applications, counselling, alcohol treatment etc 2) The Aged Care Program (CACP) provides assistance for the elderly. Services include domestic assistance, gardening & maintenance, meals, shopping and social support 3) The Home Support Program provides support to older people & people with a disability or chronic condition.

Aboriginal and Islander Independent Community School

The Aboriginal and Islander Independent Community School was established in 1986 as a primary school in Highgate Hill. In 1997 the school successfully secured funds to purchase the current site at Acacia Ridge.

To this day the Murri School continues to thrive in Acacia Ridge. The school now helps students from Prep to Year 12 grow into independent and responsible members of the community.

The National Debt Helpine provides free, independent and confidential financial counselling via phone or live chat, Monday to Friday. You can call them on 1800 007 007.
