Homelessness - Request for a refrigerator
The client was referred to us for help finding a place to live after he became homeless. He was living in a shed in rural Victoria but had to move to his ex-partner's house in a western suburb of Melbourne because he was diagnosed with cancer. The client is now receiving chemotherapy and lost vision in one eye due to an infection. He needed to leave his ex-partner's house ASAP because they were pressuring him to leave. Their house only had one bathroom, and the client had to wait a long time to use it. Finally, we found him a place to stay. He only needs a fridge now. It would help him if he could get one.
