Young parents living in a shed with limited access to basic necessities.

We are working with young parents and their child who are living in a shed with limited access to basic necessities. This is a short-term option due to the conditions and strained relationship with owner. Both are engaging in support to apply for private rentals. They are actively looking for other options but have limited support or financial capacity. They have been referred to an affordable housing program, which hopefully will support them into an affordable home.

Request is for assistance to purchase a fridge, washing machine and couch once this couple are in a safe property.

Our organisation is a social enterprise that has been in existence for nearly 50 years and has been focused on the needs of young people and people needing access to housing.
