Our client is a 46 year old female with two children she has 50:50 care of, one child has cerebral palsy and requires 24hr carer. She used to do a lot of help in the community – raising funds for different community organisations.
She has Multiple health issues and due to degenerative disc disease & is using walkers and a wheelchair to get around.
Suffers PTSD. Anxiety and depression from childhood abuse and trauma.
Unable to live independently anymore and relies on assistance from her mother and sister.
She receives DSP and is being assisted to claim NDIS support although recently declined requesting further information.
Struggling financially with cost of medications and increase in cost of living.
Recovering from 20 year Eating Disorder- the foods and supplements are expensive
Food vouchers would help reduce the pressure immensely
