Single Female living in extremely remote location that does not have mains power. During the FNQ flooding event client's generator was flooded in the generator shed on property. Floodwater also inundated home and client lost couch and floor rug. Client has no work due to loss of tourism as a result of disaster. Client has previously been cut off from town for many weeks due to roads collapsing during disaster, this caused a shortage of food and essential services in the small community in this area. Clients mental health is suffering as a result of the trauma caused by this disaster, the area is still being inundated with extremely heavy rains causing further hardships, stress and access issues.
