Mum with an Intellectual Disability and Epilepsy is experiencing financial hardship. She has a young son with Autism, ADHD and ODD with high support needs. She cannot work and is on the disability support pension. She is experiencing financial hardship trying to support herself as well as her young son with price increase in items. She has $40 left in her bank for 10 days. Mum lives from week to week financially and is unable to get ahead with the cost of living. Both mother and son rely on NDIS support each week as there are no informal supports for the family. Sadly the family has experiencing family domestic violence and Mum experiences PTSD from trauma.
