Flood affected farmers devastated by drought after floods ruined their water storage dams.

A farmer family was affected by floods in 2022. The flood ripped the fences of their farm and ruined their water storage dams that they needed to raise sheep on 123 acres. The worst impact of floods' damages to their water storage dams is being felt now, because a drought has left them with no water for their livestock. They now have to buy carted tank water every week to keep their sheep alive and hydrated. This has taken a significant toll on their finances and has also impacted the mental wellbeing of both partners. They are not sure if they would be able to make it through the drought: their 2nd natural disaster in two months. Any financial support will help keep them afloat.
