Flooded rural farmer isolated by flood event requires hand up with fencing materials
A humble local farmer who is in desperate need of some new fencing materials to keep his cattle in.
As his residence flooded, police came to retrieve this reluctant evacuee who knew he would run the risk of losing some of his beloved sheep. Subsequently he spent a few weeks out of his home which was cut off by floodwaters and inaccessible by road. The recovery road has already been long and arduous and this resident fits outside strict eligibility criteria for some grant funding. He is in urgent need of fencing materials from his local store to help keep his remaining cattle safe on his property, confined and off the road. He would be grateful if anyone could back him in with some assistance for the material required to rebuild the fence.
