To provide support to consumers in hospital impacted by severe mental health challenges and domestic/family violence.
We are a brand-new 22 bed mental health and wellbeing centre, continuing to expand to 26 people at any given time.
Our aim is to provide a safe therapeutic space for consumers to recover from acute episodes of mental illness and navigate other complex issues including family/domestic violence, sexual violence, homelessness, isolation, unemployment, addiction as well as support for first nations communities.
Many of the consumers we support have experienced significant trauma and disadvantage from the impact of domestic and family violence which has contributed to the breakdown of their mental health.
We are seeking donations to therapeutically support consumers their basic human needs.
As we are a new facility, and because of our rapid recent expanding of capacity, we do not have much funding or resources to adequately support our consumers and their therapeutic needs. Therefore, would really appreciate some support in making our therapeutic approaches possible.
