Homeless pregnant mother of seven requiring support to thrive following family violence
A loving mother of six, currently pregnant with her seventh, has recently relocated to Perth after escaping family violence. Unfortunately the family do not have housing, and are constantly moving between family members so they have roof over their heads. Mum is constantly worried about overstaying their welcome, and is worried that one day they will run out of options. The older children are currently sleeping in swags on the back veranda, not a suitable arrangement coming into winter.
Mum is carrying her seventh child and is due is three weeks. It is a high-risk pregnancy so baby may be born earlier. Mum doesn't have any baby items, and would greatly benefit from support to help prepare for baby's arrival. Mum is also trying her best to care for her six other children following significant trauma associated with family violence.
Mum would greatly benefit from supports to ensure her family are given a sense of stability and the ability to purchase items required to start again.
