Single mum and daughter stuggling badly due to isolation and poverty.
Single mum living in Dyraaba, NSW. Dyraaba is 30 mins awy from the nearest petrol station, shops or school. The floods, droughts and fires in the area has caused significant stress on this little family unit. School is important but the petrol costs and the condition of the car are now causing significant issues. The local roads and all the pot holes has caused some damage to the car and there are simply not enough funds to go around.
During the dry times, this family only had showers once a week when they were in town since they ran out of water on the property and were not able to afford a tank refill. Cooking is extremely difficult since they have not been able to get a gas bottle delivered for their cooking and hot water.
This single mum is needing as much support as possible to make ends meet.
