Displaced community members currently living in Cooktown after being evacuated from flood impacted community.
Residents were airlifted from community and placed in temporary housing. Everyone has lost all belongings and resources and has no basic essentials to move into a small house that has been arranged. Community members have already moved in to temp accommodation and are currently sleeping on the floor. 4 adults and 2 children have moved in together until they are able to return back to their community.
