Elderly flood survivor still displaced home just started repairs complex physical deterioration
This lovely lady nearly 90 years of age home was flooded in the Oct 22 Vic floods, home unlivable, moved to nursing home that closed down, now living with daughter. Housing repairs only just starting due to insurance issues.
Recent My Aged Care Application processed however having to wait for full OT assessments due to not living in Primary Place Of Residence, urgently requires lift chair does not have a seat that she can get in and out of currently using walker to sit on.
