Single mum of 6 kids facing multiple barriers including homelessness, FDV, legal system
Single mum who lost her property due to being stuck in Alice Springs during Covid 19. She moved into our homelessness program with her six kids. The family of 7 have been living in a single room with one double bed. Prior to coming to our program she left the father of her younger children due to DV. The family have just been offered a transitional property. The house is unfurnished. Support is needed to ensure the family has the items to make this house a home.
