Families who are impacted by economic crisis are often identified and in need of immediate assistance.
The impact of Cyclone Seroja and the impact of Covid 19 is still evident with many unemployed and broken families who are presenting at times with immediate needs. Right now with the rise of fuel costs and inflation in general and the housing crisis. We have families who have no hot water as they cannot afford the gas bottle refill.
School holidays and Christmas adds extra pressure to these already struggling and causes a lot of stress with many families silently struggling.
There is a need to help these families and to identify others and be able to assist immediately.
