Family impacted by February Storms, living in damaged rented home, have exhausted all savings
Family living in rental home in SE Suburbs impacted by February storms with tree coming through roof. Eldest daughter (12yo) school also damaged and impacted causing stress and anxiety. The family were required to pay for temporary repairs to home to continue living in property without power for 6 days - have been ineligible for any support and have used all their savings causing instability to the family. They lost all contents of fridge/freezer and upright freezer and are at the moment living week to week without any backup. Also damaged in the event were some furniture items including TV.
Assistance with groceries and household items would mean a great deal to this family
