Asylum seeker family seeking financial support - $500 money order
15 year old son of family seeking asylum needs to go to Sydney to renew his passport to reapply for a Bridging Visa. The family are located in Brisbane and many attempts to try to renew the passport remotely have been unsuccessful. Both parents are very ill (father is recovering from amputation due to diabetes and hospitalisation due to heart failure and mother is diagnosed with stage 4 renal failure). They would like to send the son to Sydney to stay with some family friends to renew his passport. The cost to renew passport is $287 and at this time, return flights to Sydney are approximately $200.
