Therapeutic Art Group for Aboriginal Community
Our organisation provides support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living on Wadawurrung, Gulidjan and Gadabanud Country with increased and improved access to a range of culturally appropriate health, housing, education, employment, family services and cultural services. We also contribute to improvements in community wellbeing; and build the capacity of the community to control its own affairs and achieve self-determination.
We recognise that wellbeing is holistic and want to provide our community with ways to connect with one another, support each other and celebrate culture. We have developed a therapeutic art group which meets once a week. Unfortunately we do not have any funding to provide this at the moment but we can see such value in continuing to offer this space.
We are seeking some support to purchase art materials to continue the important work in this space.
