Homeless gentleman with disability who is living in his car as the result of escaping domestic violence
I am supporting a gentleman with his mental health issues after he was made homeless. He has to leave his home, belongings including his cat to be safe. He has been couch surfing but primarily living in a borrowed car. He has been on job seeker payments with a medical certificate for over a year due to his mental health and disability. He is frightened and untrusting of crisis accommodation/ homeless services. He is also socially vulnerable with no family support. He would benefit from food and clothing vouchers as most of his center link funds go to petrol and medical appointments. He is proactive with his recovery plan with myself and is following all suggestions made by his GP who he trusts.
Funds to stay at a motel or air bnb would be grateful( but I am unsure if that is offered) thank you
