Individual urgently requires vouchers to purchase items to move into a house. The client a 50 year old man who was rendered homeless by the Lismore floods. Lost all of his possessions as a result of the flood and has spent the past 2 years residing in temporary accommodation. He has just been offered a unit by DCJ housing and a chance to have permanent accommodation into the future. As the client is starting from nothing he is needing support to furnish his new home. For his time in temporary accommodation case worker has seen an immense transform in client’s steps toward change. Engaging with case work, independently establishing routines and now beginning to transition back into the workforce.
