Grandmother is permanently caring for her two grandchildren escaping horrific Family Violence

Grandmother has recently taken on the full-time care of her two grandchildren. The children have been living in horrendous conditions due to Family Violence, and extreme drug use from both parents. Both children have suffered significant trauma and find it difficult to communicate and be around other people. The grandmother has been trying very hard to engage the children in activities, get them trauma supports and to help them feel safe. The grandson has recently found the love of surfing and has verbalized that surfing helps his brain stop thinking of the fighting. The grandson would really like a surfboard of his own. He has picked one out that he like at Anaconda for $300. Grandmother cant afford to buy this just yet as she has had to give up work to take care of the children
