Culvert drain repair
Farmer in Murrindindi, affected by floods in October 2022 and again in Dec/Jan 2024, culvert drain damage.
Farmer in Murrindindi who was affected by floods in October 2022, he lost fencing, feed for his cattle and damage to the pastures, which he corrected all on his own. However, the low-lying areas on the farm never dried out from the flooding in 2022 and he was then hit with flooding again in December/January flooding of this year 2024. Now a culvert drain is impassable and needs repair, as the other side is cut off land to him. However, the cattle still try to get through and the farmer fears he find cattle stuck in there that he can’t get out and he will need to destroy them. Up to now he has been able to pull the cattle out and this is a very difficult, time-consuming task and possibly dangerous, to him and the cattle.
This farmer doesn’t like to ask for assistance, however, he can’t fix this on his own, this time.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
