Contents lost in the floods for elderly resident surviving on a pension in independent living.


This resident is an elderly pensioner who insurance company declined his application claiming the damage was not caused by the flood. Sadly, he used his savings to do the repairs around the house that were urgently needed and was unable to replace some of his contents that were lost. Having recently received devastating news that his prostrate cancer has returned, the gentlemen is attempting to maintain his health and wellbeing as much as possible with healthy eating habits and maintaining activity with his hobbies and interests. He would enjoy the the monetary relief to cover some of these expenses whilst living on his pension.
