A mature grandmother, who is caring for her three grandchildren that are all under child protection orders and who identify as Aboriginal (paternal side), is in desperate need of a queen-sized bed (mattress, box, etc.) This grandmother has been experiencing health issues over the past few years including diabetes and mobility challenges. Additionally, she has been managing depression and mental health concerns, all while caring for her three grandchildren that have extensive trauma histories. This has resulted in financial hardship for this grandmother who is struggling with purchasing necessary furniture for the family. Her current sleeping arrangements and housing stability are negatively impacting her health and the care of her grandchildren.
