Family home lost in Lismore floods
Family of five lost house in Lismore floods in Feb 2022. Mum and 3 daughters (12yo, 7yo, 3yo) left early as stayed with family. Father stayed at house to care for pets. Woke up when water was substantially higher than emergency services were estimating. Waded out of house, and rescued by private boat.
Currently living with family, but moving home as soon as landlord has fixed house. Youngest daughter has health concerns which has them travelling to SE Queensland for regular treatment.
