Homeless mother of 5 staying in motels due to no other options

Single mother of 5, history of domestic violence. 5 year tenancy recently ended due to owner wanting to move into the house. Has applied for numerous rentals without any success. Has been unsuccessful in securing crisis accommodation as it is all full. Has been living in air bnb or motels since October 2021 when she first became homeless just after giving birth. Due to the school/Easter holidays the motels have raised the prices above the $600 a week she has been paying and she is having to move more often, every 2-3 days. There is little that can be done to help her out of this situation as Cairns has a very low rental vacancy rate and lack of social housing, the best way I can see to support her at this time is to help her manage the motel bills by providing vouchers for her to purchase food. Despite her terrible situation she has managed to get her kids to school each day without a car. She is very positive and grateful for any assistance she receives.
