5 year old, non-verbal boy with level 3 ASD needing an IPad as a communication device
We currently have an open case with a young boy who has level 3 ASD, is non-verbal, and has seven other children and one single mother caring for all these children. The family are enduring economic hardships and the young boy benefits from using technological devices to calm down, self regulate and learn. The family cannot afford an IPad themselves, and therefore are needing the help of others to be able to help this young boy manage his behaviours and learn through applications on an IPad.
