A 13yo young man is the main carer for his mother and two younger brothers all of whom are asylum seekers.
This 13yo the main carer in this family unit due to his mum's trauma experience and inability to speak English. He is the one in contact with all support organisations and translating everything for mum. He does the family shopping. He ensure his brothers get to and from school.
He is studying at High School, and is passionate about soccer and music. He is part of a representative soccer team and he is studying piano / keyboard at school.
The family are on an extremely limited income and this covers only their bare essentials, so there is no capacity to fund additional educational requirements or sporting costs.
