Digitally and physically isolated woman with disability needing connection

A 50-year-old woman with intellectual disabilities is currently located in north Brisbane. She has been a long-term member of of our service, however has never been able to connect with us or peers because of limited financial resources to get digitally connected. She is seeking a laptop computer so that she can access opportunities for work and essential services. As a part of her intellectual disability she is visually impaired and expressed that a larger screen (laptop) would benefit her capacity to stay online long-term. She wants to partake in video calls and engage with others online and through our project we will support her through those processes in our workshops.
