Family of 6 including 4 dependents vacated damaged rental home in SE suburbs after February Storms. Struggling to gain answers to when home will be repaired and living with family with 8 people in a small home.
Some family members with mental illness and youngest family member with Autism. Extra strain on family budget attempting to contribute to current accommodation and increased travel time and fuel expense to get children to school every day twice a day.
Not eligible for most assistance or Aboriginal services as one adult has full time job. Assistance to support the family's increased fuel and grocery costs (all existing food items lost to damage) and some of the children's belongings damaged or destroyed would be appreciated.
